Today was pretty fun. School was boring, as Michael didn’t have more than one class and it ended at about 9, so I left school after home room time. I went with Danyelle to downtown Nagold, where we bought some pretzels and watched kids playing in one of the fountains. At lunchtime we headed for my house, where we had something that was really good. We then hung out until 2:30, when it was time for the trip to Tübingen.
The road trip was fun, I spent the time talking to Danyelle, Eric, and Glenn. When we got there we got on some boats that were steered by a large wooden pole. It was a lot of fun, although once we were out on the water I discovered my camera was dead. I used Danyelle’s camera, but I don’t have the pictures to put up. The kid who was our ‘captain’ for this adventure was doing it for the first time (at least with a group). He did really well, although we ran into the trees hanging over the bank many times. And Michael got to push us for awhile, which I got a picture of. Some people (Michael and Glenn) decided that rocking the boat would be a lot of fun. And after awhile it was. Just not at first, when we didn’t know how much the boat could take. And the entire time it was leaning to the left by a lot. But it was a blast.
Afterwards, we got to wander around the city for an hour and a half. I went off with Danyelle and Glenn to just walk around and have fun. We got some ice cream, then ran into Goofy (nickname as used on the blog of Frau Stubbs). He was really out of it, and I felt that we should watch him until he found a buddy. We found his mom (who has just arrived), and left him there, but he wandered off again. Feeling our good deed was fulfilled, we continued to wander around until we found a Spiderman sitting next to a tree. Intrigued, we went to investigate. As I looked into the store, I saw that we had stumbled upon the only gaming store in Tübingen. They had Magic cards! And Firefly! And World of Warcraft! It was a really cool store, and the manager gave us at least $20 in discounts (I don’t remember in Euro). I got a lot of Ravnica packs, while Danyelle and Glenn each got a deck. And when I saw a lot of Ravnica packs, I mean a LOT. My dad should know what I mean. I don’t think I need to buy one of those any more, I just got one.
After this expensive run, we headed back to the bus, came home, and split up. Tomorrow we go to the zoo, which should be a blast. I think this is one of those trips that we get to wander around on our own a lot.

One thing first: CHARGE YOUR CAMERA!!!!!!
Sounds like you had a really good day today, and expensive. Bet I know what you’ll be bringing home for your Dad from Germany!
Sounds like some of your best days are when you get to wander on your own. When I get to go to Germany with you, I’ll remember that!
Better get some more Euros.
